Gift Card

Yes. Tick Add a gift card on the box page, type your message (up to 175 characters) and we print it on a Chummys gift card tucked inside the box. Nothing in the parcel mentions the price.

Our bakes contain nuts, peanuts, gluten, eggs, milk and soya, and some contain preservative (sodium metabisulphite), sulphur dioxide and sulphites. E numbers are present in some bakes too. Flavours like Snickers (peanuts) and Ferrero Rocher (hazelnuts) carry nuts by design.

Everything is made in one kitchen where nuts, peanuts, eggs, milk, soya, sesame, gluten and other dairy are all in use, and some ingredients come from factories that handle peanuts and nuts, so we cannot guarantee any box is free from traces. If you, or the person you are sending to, is allergic to any of the above, we would honestly recommend not ordering.

All of our bakes are suitable for vegetarians and contain no alcohol. They are not vegan — for that there is our Vegan box.

Absolutely – we offer next-day brownie delivery across the UK. If you need your brownies ASAP, just place your order by our cutoff (usually 12:00 noon, Mon–Fri), select the next-day delivery option, and your brownies will arrive the following day! We dispatch via DPD Next Day courier. You’ll receive tracking info via email. DPD will typically text/email an hour delivery window on the day. If nobody’s home, they may leave the box in your designated safe place or with a neighbour (they’ll notify you). We recommend choosing a delivery date when someone can receive them, just to be safe, because our boxes don’t fit through standard letterboxes (we want the brownies to arrive intact and beautiful!). For Saturday delivery, please ensure you choose the Saturday shipping option at checkout. Note: 99% of the time next-day is smooth, but occasionally couriers have delays – so if it’s for a time-sensitive gift, a 1-day cushion is wise.

Definitely. During checkout, you’ll have the option to pick a delivery date in the calendar. Just select the date you want the brownies to arrive. We’ll bake and ship your brownies timed for that day. Many customers order in advance for occasions – we’ll hold the order and dispatch so it arrives fresh on the date. It’s an easy way to schedule birthday gifts, holiday surprises, or event treats ahead of time. We also never include invoices in packages, so it’ll feel like a lovely surprise gift delivery for the recipient.

We offer a variety of pre-made boxes (check out our Bestselling Brownie Box and Corporate Brownie Gifts pages) and can cater to bulk orders. If you have a special request – say you need 50 brownies for a corporate event, or you want a flavor not listed – please reach out to us at hello@chummysbakery.co.uk. We’ll do our best to accommodate custom orders. We also provide Corporate Gifting options with branding if you need brownies as client gifts. Whatever your needs, our team is here to make it happen – just ask!

Delivery at a glance

Choose the delivery date you want at checkout. We bake to order and post the day before, on DPD's tracked next-day service, so it lands on the date you chose. For the earliest date, order before 12 noon.

Orders over £500 ship free. Every parcel is tracked, DPD text a one-hour delivery window on the day, and you can choose a safe place or a neighbour once DPD's confirmation arrives. Our boxes do not fit through a letterbox, so a safe place matters if nobody will be home.

The small print

All items are shipped via DPD Next Day Delivery, the day prior to the date you have selected during checkout. To ensure delivery on the date you have chosen, we advise you choose a safe place to deliver your items should the receiver not be in or request to leave with a neighbour. This can be selected through DPD once you have received shipping confirmation from them. Our boxes do not fit through a letterbox so it is important to complete this if the recipient is not home.

Whilst 98% of our deliveries are made on time, there are rare occasions DPD are unable to deliver which is out of our control. We accept no liability for this and you will be given the next available delivery date. It is also important to mention that DPD have a new policy in which once they have attempted delivery once, the driver is able to take the parcel to a local pick-up shop to be collected. Once it arrives there we are unable to request for it to be redelivered and if not collected will be sent back to us after 5-7 days. We do not take accountability for this and you will not recieve a refund if the parcel is taken to the pick-up shop.

For Monday delivery dates there are rare occasions you may receive the parcel earlier than expected on the weekend due to the DPD systems at certain depots. DPD will email you regarding when your delivery is due to arrive and you can then follow the same instructions as above.

Saturday Deliveries: If you have selected a Saturday delivery date you must select Saturday as a shipping option during checkout. Failure to do this will result in a weekday delivery. Shipping, VAT, and discount codes calculated at checkout. 

Please ensure that you check that your delivery address is correct on checkout and on your confirmation email. If you need us to change the delivery address we will do our best to ensure this is changed before your order is dispatched, however if your order has already left our premises you will need to contact DPD. We will not take accountability for incorrect delivery addresses and you will not recieve a refund if it is delivered to the incorrect address you have given.
