About sending food gifts at Christmas
Christmas food gifts that are baked the day before they arrive, not weeks before. The limited-edition Christmas Brownie Box brings back Christmas Pudding, Black Forest, Gingerbread, Mince Pie, Ferrero Rocher and Mint Matchmakers brownies, in a Christmas sleeve, alongside our bestselling brownie, cookie and blondie boxes. Choose the delivery date at checkout and we bake to order and post on DPD next-day tracked delivery.
Christmas brownies delivered on the day you choose
Pick any date up to six months ahead. Because every box keeps for up to two weeks from baking, you can have a gift land in early December and know it will still be at its best over Christmas, rather than gambling on the busiest courier week of the year. Boxes freeze for up to three months too, so an early order is no bad thing. Order before 12 noon, Monday to Friday, for next-day delivery.

Sending Christmas gifts by post
Every box travels with a printed gift card carrying your message, and nothing in the parcel mentions the price. On the morning DPD text and email a one-hour delivery window, so the recipient can choose a safe place or a neighbour without waiting in. Everything is baked in one West Midlands kitchen that also handles nuts, peanuts, eggs, milk, soya, sesame and gluten; the full ingredients list for every flavour is on our allergens page.

How does next-day delivery work?
Order before 12 noon and we bake and post the same day on DPD next-day tracked delivery. On each box you can pick the day you want it to land, up to six months ahead.
Can I add a gift card with a message?
Yes. Tick Add a gift card on the box page, type your message (up to 175 characters) and we print it on a Chummys gift card tucked inside the box. Nothing in the parcel mentions the price.
How long do they keep?
Our brownies are baked fresh to order, and they’ll stay deliciously fudgy for up to 10-14 days. To keep them at their best, store the brownies in an airtight container in a cool, dry spot – this maintains that gooey texture. If you want to enjoy them over a longer period, you can freeze the brownies for up to 3 months. Just wrap them tightly or keep them in the supplied packaging and pop them in the freezer. When you’re ready to indulge, thaw at room temperature or give a quick 10-second microwave zap to recreate that oven-fresh warmth!
What allergens or dietary considerations should I know?
Our bakes contain nuts, peanuts, gluten, eggs, milk and soya, and some contain preservative (sodium metabisulphite), sulphur dioxide and sulphites. E numbers are present in some bakes too. Flavours like Snickers (peanuts) and Ferrero Rocher (hazelnuts) carry nuts by design.
Everything is made in one kitchen where nuts, peanuts, eggs, milk, soya, sesame, gluten and other dairy are all in use, and some ingredients come from factories that handle peanuts and nuts, so we cannot guarantee any box is free from traces. If you, or the person you are sending to, is allergic to any of the above, we would honestly recommend not ordering.
All of our bakes are suitable for vegetarians and contain no alcohol. They are not vegan — for that there is our Vegan box.

When should I order for Christmas?
Earlier than you think. Our boxes keep two weeks from baking and freeze for three months, so ordering in the first half of December avoids the worst of the courier rush. Pick your delivery date at checkout and we dispatch the day before.
Can I send it straight to them?
Add a printed gift card on the box page and we'll tuck your words under the lid. We never include invoices in our packages, so nothing gives away what it cost.
Can I send to more than one address?
Place a separate order for each address so every box gets its own delivery date and message. For larger lists, get in touch at help@chummysbakery.co.uk and we'll help you sort it.
How long will they keep over Christmas?
Two weeks from baking, or up to three months frozen. Every box carries its own best-before date.
