5 Fun Ideas to do in Easter

Easter is just around the corner! Welcome to a time of celebration, reflection, and spending quality time with your loved ones while enjoying some delicious food and chocolate. Whether you’re looking for a festive gathering or embark on exciting activities. One of my favourite activities as a kid was egg hunting when my mom used to draw bunny paws around the house leaving clues so I could find my chocolate eggs. There are plenty of ways to make this holiday memorable, so please join us while we go through five fun ideas to spend Easter with your family and a three course menu to prepare for this special and indulgent holiday.

Easter Egg Hunt Extravaganza

Organize an egg-citing Easter egg hunt in your backyard or a nearby park. Gather chocolate eggs and create clues or a treasure map to guide participants to hidden treasures. To make it even more entertaining, consider assigning different point values to eggs based on their hiding difficulty. Don't forget to have a grand prize for the winner, perhaps a giant chocolate egg!

DIY Easter Crafts

Get crafty with your loved ones by engaging in Easter-themed art projects. Set up a crafting station with supplies like paint, markers, construction paper, and stickers. Encourage everyone to unleash their creativity by decorating Easter eggs, making bunny masks, or creating personalized Easter cards for friends and family. This activity not only fosters bonding but also allows everyone to showcase their artistic talents.

Easter Brunch Potluck

Host a delightful Easter brunch potluck where everyone contributes their favorite dishes. From savoury quiches and fluffy pancakes to fresh fruit salads and decadent pastries, there's something for everyone to enjoy. Spice up the menu by incorporating Easter-themed treats like hot cross buns. Don't forget to raise a toast with mimosas or freshly squeezed juices to toast to the joyous occasion.
